Sheffield’s Painted Fabrics Company was set up in the aftermath of the First World War to provide retraining and employment for service personnel who were affected by physical and mental health issues when they returned from the war. The exhibition tells the story of this organisation that provided meaningful work for disabled veterans from 1918-1959.
The exhibition is part of a project run by Ignite Imaginations and runs Saturday 31st March to Tuesday 17th April (closed Easter Monday).
