Run Talk Run exists to make both movement and mental health less intimidating, and more accessible. Their mission is to increase accessibility to mental health support through running & walking support groups. They run free, weekly 5km jogs around Sheffield.
Run Talk Run Sheffield currently have two groups that meet on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
The Tuesday group meets between 6:45-7pm outside Hillsborough Leisure Centre. The Wednesday group meets between 6:45-7pm at the entrance to Endcliffe Park off Hunters Bar roundabout. All abilities are welcome, they walk if the need to and nobody gets left behind. They are a mental health group first and running comes second. There is no coaching, no judgement, just come as you are.
You can find a list of all the different Run Talk Run events across Sheffield and South Yorkshire by registering on the Heylo website (app.heylo.co). They also have a free to download app on iOS and Android devices, also called Heylo.
