Taking the Biscuit

  • About

    Share

Taking the Biscuit is an informal group for female professionals / former professionals who suffer from mental health conditions. The group provides a space to share or discuss the unique challenges facing that particular group in trying to overcome mental health stigma and other obstacles, either in returning to work / finding new meaning in a world where they no longer work.

The group is simply to share and support – as little or as much as you wish.

For more details email them, or you can just turn up.

Taking the Biscuit is female only and is on the third Tuesday of each month, 1.00 – 2.30pm at Coffika Cafe (formerly Couch).Twitter: @BiscuitTaking

A table with two couches is reserved in the window. Just look for the woman in yellow or with a yellow scarf. The location is directly opposite a bus stop and parking is free for 2hrs in the car park directly opposite (Berkeley Precinct).

There is also a mixed gender group called My Cup of Tea.

Please note: events may not be running on bank holidays and over the Christmas period. Please double check with the organiser (before attending) if you are unsure.
