Epic Friends is a website developed by Sheffield CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) and Sheffield Children’s Hospital. It is designed to help young people to get support for themselves and support their friends who may be having difficulty coping with their emotions or mental health.
The website provides helpful information about common problems affecting young people such as stress, family issues and bullying, as well as more complex issues such as eating disorders, self-harm and depression.
For each topic there are ideas and suggestions about strategies that might help, and what to do to get further help, advice or to talk to someone.
