Terms and Conditions

This website is created for Sheffield people, by Sheffield people. By using it, you agree to read, understand and uphold these terms and conditions, which have also been co-created by Sheffielders.

What the website is for

The content on this website is intended as information only, not as a recommendation or diagnosis. It doesn’t replace going to see a specialist. If you have any concerns you should see your GP, or click the ‘urgent help’ button on this site.

Listings and content

The fact that a service is listed on this site shouldn’t be taken as a recommendation. We have a criteria for listing services (which we co-produced with our steering group). This means that our list of services doesn’t include every service in the area; we’ve prioritised those which are low cost, non-profit, and that offer treatments endorsed by NICE and other similar bodies. We update services on an annual basis, and the last update of this service is listed on the content pages.

Using the site

Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

If you have any issues or concerns about this website feel free to get in touch on mhguide@sheffieldflourish.co.uk. If you aren’t satisfied with how the complaint is handled you can also contact our funders, Sheffield City Council.

Data protection

If you sign up to our newsletter (you can do this in the footer of this website) you are protected by the Data Protection Act 1998. This means we will only email you with updates relating to the work of Sheffield Flourish, that we will keep your data secure, and that we will only keep it for as long as necessary. You can find out more about how you are protected by the Data Protection Act on the Government’s website.

Online behaviour

We run several social media accounts connected with this website. By using them you agree to our house rules. You should also make sure you stay safe online  – there’s  more information on how to do this on the Sheffield Flourish website.
