It’s as important to look after your mental wellbeing as your physical health, to make sure you’re feeling okay and coping with the day-to-day. We all have our own level of mental health, whether we feel well or not, and we have a diagnosis or not. The main thing to know is that there are lots of different ways we can look after our wellbeing. Alongside accessing support from services, organisations and therapists, why not try:
- Connecting with others
- Get busy and active
- Take notice and relax
- Give and share
- Learn something new
There’s also a lot of things which can impact mental health which are part of our day to day lives, like stress, caring responsibilities and debt, and it’s worth reading our information on these things.
Your wellbeing can also be affected negatively, by things like aches and pains, or by smoking. Check out NHS Choices for help with your physical health, or with quitting smoking.
