Battle Scars are a small, survivor-led charity offering local, regional, national as well as international support around self-harm, including eating disorders. They run face-to-face services in Leeds and Wakefield but they also run online and virtual support groups that anyone can join.

They are not a crisis service and may not be able to respond immediately.

Online Support

Battle Scars run online adult peer support groups. There is a group each day of the week at different times. Each group runs every two weeks. Please check out their website for current times and days. These are held on Zoom. To join a group, use the contact form on the support groups page.

They also run a group for parents and friends of people who self harm on every other Tuesday 6:30-8pm. You can find out more and apply to join on their website.

They also moderate a private Facebook support group and host lots of resources about self-harm.
