Maan Somali Mental Health provide culturally sensitive services to members of the Somali community and other BME and refugee communities in Sheffield experiencing mental health problems.

They cater to people with mental health issues, carers and older people, supporting access to mental health services provided by the voluntary and statutory sectors. Maan also run male-only and female-only support groups for Somali carers.

Staff provide help and advice on:

  • Mental health
  • Benefits & employment support
  • Accessing interpreters
  • Volunteering opportunities
  • Health & wellbeing

The service is available to members of the Somali community and other BME and refugee communities aged between 16 and 65 and living in Sheffield.

You can self refer, or ask someone to refer on your behalf.
