OCD Action is a national charity that provides support and information to anybody affected by OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). They work towards a better understanding of OCD, ensuring appropriate treatment options are accessible to all and ensuring that nobody feels ashamed to ask for help.

Helpline

OCD Action provide a helpline, which is open from 9.30am-8pm Monday to Friday. This is a confidential and unbiased service offering help, information and support for people with OCD, their carers, or concerned friends or family. The helpline number is 0300 636 5478. This service can also be accessed via email: support@ocdaction.org.uk. You can also request a call back using the form on their website.

OCDYouth

For those under 18, OCD Action have also created a youth website. This is designed for young people, their parents, teachers or other adults who support them. On the website you can download information, access resources, join online forums, and meet other young people with OCD.

Support

OCD Action run online peer support groups run by trained OCD Action volunteers. These are a safe space to speak to others in an open and non judgemental atmosphere.

There is an online forum providing a community for people affected by OCD and related conditions.
