Sheffield Psychosexual Therapy Service (formerly Relationship and Sexual Service) is an NHS service for adults (18+) who are experiencing psychosexual problems. Often these may relate to the mental and emotional aspects of sexuality or have underlying psychological causes.
This may include: erectile disorder, premature or delayed ejaculation, difficulties with arousal (both male and female), concerns about sexual desire, low libido, genital or sexual pain, or female orgasmic disorder.
The service offers assessment and treatment using a variety of therapeutic approaches for individuals and couples.
Direct referrals are only accepted from GPs in South Yorkshire. If your are being referred from outside of the South Yorkshire area, a GP can request the Sheffield Psychosexual Therapy Service via NHS Right to Choose.
