SADACCA Adult Day Care Centre is for older adults in Sheffield who are struggling to manage independently, or who are isolated or lonely. The service is for all older adults, and in particular those from African and Caribbean Communities.

Adult day care is a planned programme of activities for adults designed to promote wellbeing. These activities include:

  • Arts and crafts
  • Musical entertainment and sing-a-longs
  • Mental stimulation games such as bingo
  • Stretching or other gentle exercises
  • Discussion groups (books, films, current events)
  • Holiday and birthday celebrations
  • Local outings

SADACCA Adult Day Care also provide:

  • Nutritious meals for attendees
  • Transport to and from the centre
  • Counselling and support groups for carers
  • Health support services such as blood pressure monitoring and vision screening
