Salvation Army Charter Row Lifehouse provides 55 units of supported accommodation for single men aged 18+ who are experiencing homelessness.
Accommodation is provided on either bed and breakfast or a half board basis with a maximum stay of up to 1 year.
Charter Row Lifehouse provide housing related support, as well as support for substance misuse, poor mental health, emotional wellbeing and employability skills.
Their services include:
- A specialised ETE (Education, Training and Employment) support worker
- Chaplaincy support
- Drop in sessions on a weekly basis in partnership with Devonshire Green Surgery
- Probation support
- Addiction support (via Addaction)
- Education / training (hosted by Crisis Skylight)
Admission to the service is via Sheffield City Council’s Housing Solutions Team, using their “Housing Support Pathway”. Prospective residents should go to Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH for assessment or by calling 0114 273 6306.
