Stand Alone are a national charity who support people who are estranged from their family or children.

They provide online support groups and workshops where you can connect with people who have also experienced estrangement, in a supportive, non-judgemental space.  Details of when the groups run are on their website or you can sign up to their newsletter.

Furthermore, they also provide a list of psychotherapists and counsellors who can support you. However, these are private therapists and you will need to cover the costs yourself.

The Stand Alone website also has a number of information guides on issues around family estrangement.
