Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SOBS) is an organisation whose purpose is to meet the needs and break the isolation of those bereaved by the suicide of a close relative or friend.  They are a self-help organisation and their volunteers have themselves been bereaved by suicide.

SOBS offer the following emotional and practical support:

The National Helpline 0300 111 5065 is available 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mon – Fri.

Sheffield Support Group

The Sheffield support group meets 1st Wednesday of the month. Please contact Nick on 07858 290078 or sheffield@uksobs.org for further details of times and location of meetings. If you get through to the answerphone please leave a message and one of them will get back to you.
