Strong Minds Together is a local charity that run mental health support groups. Their youth group is every Thursday (including school holidays) from 4-6pm. It is for young people aged 10 to 16 to hang out with other children and build friendships. They provide Xbox games, games, crafts, magazines and sensory items to engage with.

The sessions are run like a youth club. It is a relaxed, safe environment where young people have the opportunity to talk about any issues they might have with support from the group leaders.

From 5 – 6pm the children will be invited onto the pitch to take part in fitness training delivered by Sheffield United Community Foundation and a game of football if they choose. They are also able to stay inside or just watch if they prefer.

All sessions are free, refreshments provided and no referral needed. On your first visit a parent / carer will need to attend to fill out a membership form..

All group leaders and staff are DBS checked for piece of mind.

Where: Leisure United Thorncliffe, Pack Horse Lane, Sheffield, S35 3HY

When: Every Thursday 4pm – 6pm

Please note: events may not be running on bank holidays and over the Christmas period. Please double check with the organiser (before attending) if you are unsure.
